On November 17, 1999, he was born in Las Vegas, Nevada. Between Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Josie Harris, he is the eldest child. Koraun is an American citizen and member of the African-American ethnic group.
The star child is descended from boxers. The well-known boxer Floyd Mayweather Sr.’s grandson is his paternal grandfather. His grandfather even engaged in combat with Sugar Ray Leonard.
Moreover, Jeff and Roger Mayweather, Koraun’s paternal great uncles, were also boxers. For many years, Roger also served as Floyd Jr.’s trainer.
Koraun was born and raised in Las Vegas, where he also completed his elementary schooling. In terms of schooling, he completed his studies in 2018 at West Ranch High School.
His father was present to see the momentous day for the Mayweather family as he graduated. Floyd informed his global fan base of the exciting news on his Instagram account.
The caption was more than enough to convey Mayweather’s pride upon his son’s graduation. He composed,
“I’m really proud of my son for graduating from high school—something I never accomplished. I left school when I was his age to pursue my ambition of boxing and lift my family out of poverty.
Koraun also expressed gratitude to his parents for inspiring him to pursue his studies.
Koraun’s parents had a violent bond.
Floyd has faced numerous criminal charges during his illustrious career. Many of us are already aware of his violent tendencies, which have in the past caused numerous females to file complaints of domestic abuse against him.
Everything was going well for Floyd and Josie when they initially started dating. His violent behavior then began to cause a lot of issues in the early 2000s. He was banned from the game for about six months, with two days of home detention, when Josie filed a domestic assault allegation against him.
In 2010, he returned to Josie’s house early in the morning after they had already split up and allegedly “yanked her to the floor by her hair, then punched and kicked and screamed cuss words at her in front of their children.”
The children found the experience to be quite terrifying. Koraoun was the one who informed a security guard, who notified the authorities.
Koraun has one half-sibling and two biological siblings.
In addition to him, his parents also have a boy named Zion Shamaree Mayweather (born March 28, 2001) and a daughter named Jirah Mayweather (born June 25, 2004).
His father’s marriage to Melissa Brim produced another daughter, Iyanna, also known as Yaya Mayweather. Devion Cromwell, Koraun’s other sibling, is the son of Melissa Brim from a previous relationship. Devion was raised next to the four Mayweather children.
